These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.utahriley.com (the "Site"), operated by Riley Owen for Utah ("the Campaign," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our privacy policy.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

3. Political Contributions
Contributions made through the Site are subject to federal campaign finance law. By submitting a contribution, you certify that:

You are a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident

The funds you are contributing are your own, and are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution

You are making this contribution using your own credit card or payment account, and not one belonging to another person

You are not a federal government contractor

This contribution does not exceed applicable federal contribution limits, and you have not exceeded those limits when combined with your other contributions to this committee

You are making this contribution with personal funds, not funds drawn from a corporation, labor organization, national bank, or federal government contract
Corporate contributions are prohibited by federal law and will be refunded. Contribution limits and rules are set by the Federal Election Commission and are subject to change; current limits are available at fec.gov.
All contributions are non-refundable except where required by law or campaign policy. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions about a contribution.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, photos, and video, is owned by or licensed to the Campaign and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may share Site content for non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution, but you may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
5. User Content
If the Site allows you to submit comments, testimonials, or other content, you grant the Campaign a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with campaign activities. You are solely responsible for content you submit, and you agree not to submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing on the rights of others.
6. No Warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
7. Text Messaging Terms
If you opt in to receive text messages from the Campaign, you agree to the terms described in our privacy policy including that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency may vary, and that you may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Consent to receive text messages is never required as a condition of making a donation or using the Site.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Campaign, its officers, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data or interrupted access.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Campaign harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including payment processors and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and by applicable federal law, including federal campaign finance law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
