Why I'M Running
The American dream is dwindling.
That once ordinary white-picket-fence home can no longer be purchased by most of us. Our cities and towns once defined by community, character, and innovation are now filled with distrust, division, and discord.
Politics, and thereby government, have become obsessed with hot-button anger-tainment that only draws outrage and grows personal followings for career politicians but does little to help Americans feed their families or prepare our young people to form businesses, build wealth, and start families of their own.
Meanwhile, social media companies profit through exacerbating polarization fueled by algorithmic addictions forced upon us. The only losers are us — on both sides of the political aisle.
I’m running for Congress because I refuse to let the American dream die. I refuse to believe that our country must forever remain angrily divided.
Most of all, I refuse to give up on the America I know, serve, and love.
